Instructions for authors
Oral presentations
Computer and HDMI connection will be available on every classroom. Personal computers can be used, but we recommend to bring your presentation on a USB memory stick.
- Special plenary: 10 min
- Plenary: 30 min (including Q&A)
- Keynote: 25 min (including Q&A)
- Invited: 20 min (including Q&A)
- Oral: 15 min (including Q&A)
- Short Oral: 10 min (including Q&A)
Chairmen will moderate the presentatios and Q&A times, ensuring smooth transitions between speakers. We will kindly ask the chair to be before the sessions start.
Poster presentations
Posters should be printed in A0 size in portrait orientation and will be placed in poster holders prior to the poster session by the presenters.
Guidelines for Poster Preparation and 1-Minute Oral Presentation
Poster Preparation
- Self-Printing: You are responsible for printing your own poster and bringing it to the conference.
- Size and Orientation: Posters should be printed in A0 size (841mm × 1189mm) in portrait orientation.
- Setup: Posters must be placed in the designated poster holders by the presenters before the poster session.
- Materials Provided: Tapes for fixing the posters will be provided by the conference organizers.
1-Minute Poster Oral Presentation
- Presentation: You will be invited to deliver a 1-minute oral presentation to briefly introduce your research to the audience.
- PPT Preparation:
- Please prepare a single-slide PPT (only 1 page).
- No animations are allowed (including transitions or internal slide animations).
- Submission Deadline and Email:
- Please submit your PPT by May 25, 2025 to frpm25@imdea.org.
- Slide Format:
- The recommended aspect ratio for the slide is 16:9 (widescreen).
Bring a copy of your poster presentation and any embedded files on a USB memory stick to the conference.
